Haiguang Mould Plant is situated in Beilun of Ningbo that is a place of scenic beauty and is called as A Land of Mould Industry . The plant is an enterprise that specializes in manufacture of various large- and medium-size moulds or dies which are very difficult to be processed, including die-casting dies of aluminum, copper, zinc, magnesium and high precision plastic moulds, with a production history of more than 30 years. The workshop occupies an area of 1980 square meters (including a machine tool machining shop of 660 square meters, which is a wholly Taiwanese-owned enterprise to provide parts for the plant) and the plant possesses two Taiwan-made linear cutting machines and two Taiwan-made electric pulse devices of six-operation directions. The plant also possesses 10 Mainland-made conventional electric pulse devices and 8 Mainland-made conventional linear cutting machines, 19 rough processing machine tools including lathes, millers, grinders and drills, and 5 bridge cranes. There are 8 machine tools in the joint-stock processing center that provides parts for the plant for the long-term. Inside the plant's area of 2000 square meters there are about 760 advanced CNC machine tools of different sizes, and good mould processing environment. The complete system has been formed, from measuring, shaping, machining of materials to hardware, purchasing, heat treatment, testing or trial operation of moulds, etc. The plant is one of the stronger and most reputable mould plants in China.
